Recently, a new species of snail was discovered: the blueberry snail. The only things that are known about them are that they are freshwater and live bearers, which means that every one to three weeks, female blueberry snails give birth to a single kid instead of depositing eggs and invading an aquarium! These snails are distinguished by their eye-catching dark blue coloring and orangy gold flecks all over their bodies. By acting as a filter feeding snail and eating algae and leftovers from aquariums, they keep your tank clean.

Shipping & DOA Policy

Shipping days are Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in case any delay the fish wont be stuck in traship over the weeked. All live fish will be shipped ONLY through overnight shipping.


DOA Policy: Photo or video documentation of
dead fish in original packaging within 1 hour of first delivery
attempt. No coverage to delay or damage cause by postal office. DOA
Policy covers total cost of the fish shipping not included

    Blueberry snails are beautiful, so unique!

    I ordered 6 snails and received 6+1(a baby!) The shipping was expedient tho expensive to MD. Boxing was good tho water in bags was in 60’s. A bit chilly. After accumulating for temp (77 in my tank)into seasoned tank, it took a few hours for the snails to start moving. I received a mix of m/f, various sizes. Seller was great and contacted me thru email on departure/arrival updates/tracking #. Def recommend Moonlight Aquatics, especially if you live closer to the store than the east coast- to lower shipping cost. 😁

    Great communication and livestock

    This was my first time purchasing from moonlight aquatics, I was very impressed with the quality of the snails and the communication from the owner. I got 5 of these snails. All that I received are about a dime to a quarter size seem to be in great condition. Will definitely be a returning customer.

    I bought 6, they sent 7, 2 haven't acclimated yet but even if they don't that's ok. The snails are in good shape physically, good shells, pretty colored animals. Size is about half an inch, maybe 3/8".

    My order arrived on time and in excellent condition. All livestock appears to be in very good health, and I recommend Moonlight Aquatics! This is my first time purchasing from them, and I hope to be doing more business with them in the future.
